When you’re ready to escape the Arizona heat this summer, consider heading to Disneyland where the summer nights are what dreams are made of. Not only will you love the cool breeze, but you’ll be entertained with the best nighttime shows, including some that may only be around this year!
We got the scoop from our friends at Get Away Today who shared details on four nighttime shows you won’t want to miss at the Disneyland Resort this summer:
Together Forever – A Pixar Nighttime Spectacular is an all-new fireworks show. In addition to incredible pyrotechnics, expect beautiful music and stunning projections.
Fantasmic! takes place on Rivers of America and since re-opening late last summer, it is now bigger and better than ever before. If you saw this show before its hiatus from 2016-2017, you are in for a real treat. New technology and sequences will make you wonder if it’s even the same show! Be sure to get a FastPass or make a dining reservation to guarantee you’ll get a great viewing spot. If you happen to go to the first showing of Fantasmic!, make sure to stick around for the fireworks, which will have projections on Rivers of America. It’s like getting two shows for the price of one!
Paint the Night Parade is back after being the star of the Diamond Celebration in 2015 – 2016. But this year it will make its way through the parade route in Disney California Adventure Park. The parade made its debut in April as part of the limited time Pixar Fest. However, if you’d like to catch this favorite parade featuring larger than life floats adorned with millions of LED lights, be sure to visit this summer.
World of Color is the award-winning nighttime spectacular that weaves Disney story telling with music, light, water and special effects into something you have to see to believe. You’ll want to get a FastPass for this show that plays nightly in Disney California Adventure Park. However, if you’re looking to splurge, consider purchasing a dining package that includes dinner and premium viewing.
This summer at Disneyland also brings the opening of Pixar Pier, a newly re-themed land inside Disney California Adventure Park that premiers on June 23rd, 2018. Here, you’ll be able to experience your favorite classic attractions and entertainment all summer long.
