Are you feeling overwhelmed or looking for a more organized approach to holiday shopping for your friends and family in Phoenix and across the nation? From mobile gift lists to shopping apps that let you scan bar codes and comparison shop for the best deals –here are a few tips to help you save time and money this holiday season!

  1. Make a “mobile” gift list
    A gift-list app makes it easy to keep track what you’ve bought and how much you’ve spent!  Popular apps include:  The Christmas List app (iOS) and Christmas Gift List app (Android)
  2. Comparison Shop
    Shopping apps make it easier than ever to comparison shop and find the best deals. Some favorites: Flipp, Shopsavvy, PriceGrabber and RetailMeNot.
  3. “Check it twice”
    Before you buy an item online, do a quick Google search for it by name –another retailer may be selling it for a much cheaper price (and don’t forget to compare shipping costs!).
  4. Free Shipping Day 2017 – Dec. 15th
    Online shoppers can get free shipping each year on Free Shipping Day – this year, Dec. 15, 2017. Go to www.freeshipping.com for a list of participating retailers.
  5. Shop with gift cards
    Buy gift cards at a discount–then go shopping or give as gifts.  Check out www.Raise.com or purchase in bulk from large retailers like Costco.
