IMPORTANT: Information about your PIN
Because your account has more than one Visa® check card issued to it, beginning September 6, 2006 at approximately 9 p.m., if you have different Personal Identification Numbers (PINs) for these cards, the PIN for EACH of these cards will be the same as the last PIN changed at one of our branch locations.
For instance, Joe and Mary each have Visa check cards on the same account. Joe never changed his PIN. Mary went into a branch and changed her PIN three months later. Both Joe and Mary’s cards will be reset to the PIN that Mary chose at the branch.
To avoid difficulties during a PIN transaction, identify which cardholder on your account changed their PIN last.
Conversely, if you don’t have different PINs on the cards, then this issue doesn’t affect your account.
Why is this change taking place?
We’re currently converting the way we process all of our credit, debit and ATM Visa transactions to provide a higher standard of security and allow for added services in the future.
Thank you for your understanding during this transition. If you have any concerns regarding this issue or questions about your PIN, please call (602) 683-1000. |
